”Does it wash away in the rain?”

At WeTheSeeds we have standardised painting process to ensure the quality of each window display. Through our choice of temporary window paint and our layering process, our windows are unaffected by the weather, especially rain! Essentially, the final window painting will be waterproof and has a long life span of 5+ months. Once installed, we recommend to not constantly be touching the window heavily, or wipe/wash your window, however the artwork is solid once dry. Lastly, once the campaign or season is over, you can remove the painted window easily too. (see below).

“I don’t know what design I want?”

For our team to work their magic, it’s best if you can provide us a starting point so we can create a design truly reflective of your business and brand. We’re happy to throw around a few ideas, but we work best with some initial ideas from you! We’ve heard all sorts, the wacky and worrying... You can’t surprise us! But in all honestly, do let us know your initial design thoughts, if you don’t know- we sure dont. So do give us something to expand on!

“How do I get rid of the window painting?”

Once your campaign is over a window cleaner can easily get rid of the hand painted window display, or some of our clients prefer to do it themselves with some hot soapy water and a window scraper! See the video on “How to remove your window artwork” here.

“How long does it take to install?”

We have a roughly 8 hour installation process, adding layer upon layer to your window to create the best window artwork for your premises. All of our hand-painted window displays are painted by WeTheSeeds® qualified window artists that we train ourselves in house.

“Is the paint and other resources included within the quote?”

Paints, travel and the cost of resources are included within our quote. The price quoted is always the total cost, with no hidden extra costs.

“Will my window need a pen-test?”

Very rarely, some high-end retail windows or windows within a retail complex or shopping centre have an additional waterproof film to their window. Please inform us if your premises is located in one of these places as when you request a quote your window may require a pre-installation pen test. This is to determinate the quality of the bind of our paint to the window before installation of the window art advertising begins.

“How does the buying process work?”

Once you request a quote with us, we’ll get back to you promptly with a design strategy and a quotation, once you are happy we’ll send you a full payment invoice to secure your booking slot and start on the design process. Once paid, our expert window design team will create a digital mockup of your window with your unique design strategy in mind. As soon as the window design is approved, we’ll settle a date to install the window display on site with our qualified WeTheSeeds® professional window artists, with 95% of our projects being completed within a full working day from as early as possible.

“Will the window painting look EXACTLY like the digital design?”

As much as we’d love to copy and paste our digital design onto the hand-painted window in real life, unfortunately… that’s impossible! So please note that all digital design drafts and mock-ups are subject to alter when installed. Colours, sizes and shapes will change, but will be as true to life as the digital design draft as possible. There is no guarantee that the “digital design draft or mock-up” and the final real life installation will be a direct “like-for-like” reflection of each other. We will, to the best of our ability, oversee the installation of the design in reference to the digital design draft or mock-up as closely as possible! Also do note that we work from your unique digital design and adjusting this or adding additional features on the installation day or after the quoted price, will incur an additional fee.

“Can you paint my residential home windows?”

As much as we’d love to, we’re a commercial public window art advertising service, therefore only service commercial business window art sites.
